ValiKom

Support offer

The project ValiKom (Validation of non-formally and informally acquired competences) tries to identify, document, evaluate and certify professionally relevant competences.

The idea of the project is aimed at people without a formal vocational qualification. The procedure developed and tested in the ValiKom project enables the evaluation and certification (validation) of occupation-relevant competences.

Following the procedure, a certificate is issued by a Chamber of Crafts, a Chamber of Industry and Commerce or a Chamber of Agriculture.

Who can access this offer?

Various conditions are linked to the offer:

  • At least 25 years old
  • No vocational qualification or work in an unskilled profession
  • Several years of professional experience, but no or few documents as evidence

CPI

Support offer

The CPI is an entrance exam preparatory class. It offers to assist students or jobseekers, who are from humble background, to prepare for external competitive exam and third competitive exam in the public service by providing them with reinforced pedagogical support, financial support and the competence of a tutor.

AFPA (National Agency for Adult Professional Training)

Support offer

AFPA supports jobseekers and employees without discrimination at all periods of their professional life: integration, reconversion, and professionalization. They also serve the economic development, growth and competitiveness of businesses by training the skills they need.

AFPA has four main missions :

  • Certification: for the Ministry of Labour and other ministries
  • Anticipating tomorrow’s trades and skills: repeating emerging skills, designing and experimenting with tomorrow’s training
  • Supporting skills development: studying the needs of new skills on the labour market
  • Support to operators in charge of professional development consulting activities, in particular through the discovery of professions on Afpa’s technical platforms.
