ISFOL (public research body on the themes of formation of social and labour policies) has produced a booklet on the skills of the citizen by incorporating the EU Council guidelines on the validation of formal and informal skills.

There is a 2013 decree on the National System of Certification of Skills.
A research on use is under way, but currently it is not requested by employers, who are not actually aware of their existence.
