Access the labour market in the UK

To boost the number of jobs and create a flexible labour market, the UK Government is modernising UK employment law while protecting employee rights. To increase the number of people in employment, the UK needs to support them into work through the benefits system and job search support.
Formal procedures go through the Job Centre Plus or through recruitment agencies.
Informal procedures include online job boards run by private companies and also by the national newspapers, like ‘The Times’, ‘The Guardian’ and ‘The Telegraph’, company; social networks; the ‘hidden job market’; employers’ own internet site.
